Enabling good things to happen!
Every performance is special and takes a lot of preparation and rehearsal - and that’s just the musicians! Behind the scenes, the Friends of NYJO help in various ways to ensure that NYJO runs smoothly and provides the right supportive, safe and enjoyable learning environment for these talented young musicians.
Mostly, we’re the parents, guardians and friends of the performers and we contribute in various ways depending on our availability, interests and abilities. Examples of helping include supporting gigs and transporting gear, publicity, fund-raising, helping run a tuck-shop on practice nights, contributions to the website, membership administration etc. Sometimes, it’s your networking abilities - knowing of a contact that could make a difference...
