Jazz Workshop Exclusive to NYJO Members
Internationally renowned professional musician and tutor Snake Davis provided a ‘Pro and Performance’ Workshop exclusively for NYJO members. There were great tips on practice and how to ‘deliver’ a great performance for audiences. Group work and improvisation flowed easily and his session was complemented by ones from regular tutors Ben and Phil who used video to show players how they really look! Parents were treated to short concert and feedback from all was really positive! Snake emailed NYJO afterwards to say “It was a great day, I really enjoyed it. What a wonderful set up, you have great leaders/tutors there in Phil and Ben, a great team of organisers and a wonderful bunch of very lucky youngsters! Please pass on my thanks to everyone involved. Good luck with it all”
