Hugh Pascall
 
Hugh was a member of both the NYO and Brassery, going on to study at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) and Paris Conservatoire.  He holds a Royal Academy teaching Diploma and was awarded the Scott Fulbritzer Prize for Jazz at RAM and a Sir Elton John Scholarship.

An in-demand trumpeter, Hugh has played with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra at Ronnie Scott’s, with Haiki Loki at Glastonbury 2007, with his quartet "Pump!" at London jazz venues, with his electric duo "Ctrl>Alt>Elite" and on numerous continental tours including Free-Breathing Orchestra, Imperial Big Band and the Guilhem Verger Quintet.  He played the Paul Isaac Francs' concerto for jazz trumpet with NYO at the Royal Concert Hall Nottingham.
